With menus created by award winning Chef Patron Alex Aitken, who retained a Michelin star in the New Forest and Dorset for 14 years, the dishes reflect his philosophy of fresh, seasonal and local. “Upper Deck is all about food that you want to eat, and come back for, again and again”, says Alex.
A place to relax, dine and drink, where coastal heritage meets yacht chic, guests are welcome to visit throughout the day. From early morning coffees and breakfast at the bar, to brunch and long lunches on the terrace, rolling into the buzz of dinner and drinks under the stars…
Amongst the delicious offerings included are local Poole Bay rock oysters, cracked crab claws, catch of the day from the local Mudeford fishermen and even home-reared lamb, pork and beef. For those wishing to share, Alex has created a ‘Bring me Food & Wine’ menu, and for those in need of a light bite, the ‘Bar, Lounge and Terrace’ menu is a must.

Sunday Lunch served 12pm-4pm
Afternoon Tea served Monday to Saturday, 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Dinner served 6.00pm – 9.30pm

‘The Library’ has been designed to complement the restaurant, and can seat up to 16 guests. Perfect for a birthday celebration, anniversary dinner or dinner party, we’d recommend our ‘Bring Us Food and Drink’ menu for a fun and relaxed private dining experience.
For larger parties, we have a range of different sized spaces throughout the hotel, catering for up to 120 guests for your corporate event, wedding or celebration.
