Please note: our processes and precautions for our HarSPAs will be under constant review, and this guide will be constantly updated to give you the very latest information. We will, of course, always comply with all government regulations - and more.

We have summarised how our operating procedures work:

  1. We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you do not enter the hotel. These include; A high temperature and a new and persistent cough. 
  2. All guests will be asked to undertake a non-contact temperature check upon arrival. To protect the safety of our other guests, anyone with a temperature above 37.8 degrees will not be allowed to enter the premises.
  3. It is mandatory to wear a face covering when moving around our hotel public spaces. We ask that all gym users adhere to this when arriving and departing. 
  4. In order to keep you and our teams safe, we have added Perspex screens in our receptions and café service areas.
  5. All HarSPA public areas have been reconfigured where necessary and marked out to ensure social distancing of a minimum of 1 meter can be maintained at all times.
  6. We have to limit the number of people in each area of the spa at one time to ensure social distancing is maintained.
  7. Our treatment rooms, equipment and instruments will be disinfected and sterilised between client appointments and we will conduct regular cleaning of shared surfaces, changing rooms and our public spaces throughout the day. 
  8. We may need to briefly close areas throughout the day to carry out further deep cleaning and sanitisation. All cleaning will be checked thoroughly by our management team.
  9. We have set up hand sanitiser stations throughout HarSPA for you to use, and disinfectant wipes in the gym for you to wipe down equipment before and after use. We ask that you use the hand sanitisers before and after entering HarSPA.
  10. All treatments must be pre-booked. You will be sent a pre-arrival email detailing all you need to know before arriving at HarSPA. We will be accepting credit and debit card payments only.
  11. We will aim to offer our treatments in the safest possible way whilst adhering to recommended social distancing guidelines.
  12. Our HarSPA therapists have received further health and safety and will wear the appropriate PPE when carrying out your treatment.
  13. Equipment in our gyms has been rearranged to increase space and maintain social distancing measures.
  14. Classes and personal training will be available. Class numbers will be limited to adhere to the required social distancing guidelines and thorough cleaning of all areas and equipment before and after use will be conducted and checked by our management team.
  15. Where possible we will move our classes and training outside, making the most of our spacious terraces and gardens. 
  16. Detailed guidance signage will be in place throughout the spa.
  17. We ask that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you call us to postpone your visit. 
  18. We will need to limit the number of members using the facilities at one time to maintain social distancing. We recommend you arrive ‘spa ready’ with swimwear on underneath your clothes to limit the time spent in our changing facilities. We recommend where possible coming to and from the gym in your training kit.
