FAQs

The nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway, about a 40-minute drive, with direct trains to London Paddington. Padstow is just a 20-minute drive from Newquay Airport or a 90-minutes from Exeter Airport.

For residents who book direct with us, car parking is complimentary, subject to availability. There is a £10 per day parking charge for residents who have not booked directly with us. 

We have limited on-site parking, which means spaces are first-come, first served. 

If you are a blue-badge holder, please get in touch with our reception crew who can assist you with parking.  

As spaces are limited, we cannot offer car parking to non-residents.

Check-in is anytime from 3pm. If you plan to arrive later than 10pm, please call our reception team to reconfirm your booking. Check-out is at 11am. You can request a late check-out or early check-in when booking online, or with our reception crew.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the hotel is not accessible. However, we do have rooms with walk-in showers which are accessible by lift. If you require a more accessible room, please contact our reservations crew, who can recommend the best room for your stay.

We have specific rooms that dogs can stay in. Please contact the reservations crew to check availability for this. Dogs are welcome on our terrace and in our Boat Room while on their lead and not allowed in the main restaurant, bar or lounge. There is a charge of £20 per night, per dog. The charge and restrictions do not apply to service dogs.

No other pets are permitted.

We don't have family rooms at the hotel, but we do have some connecting rooms. You aren't able to book these rooms online, so please contact the reservations crew to enquire about availability. 

A few of our rooms can accommodate an extra bed or cot. Please contact our reservation crew to enquire about availability for this. Extra beds are only suitable for children up to 12 years old.

Some of our Inland View rooms have air conditioning. For the rest of our bedrooms without air conditioning, we do provide a fan.
