Sophie and James’ special day perfectly illustrated their personalities, with a classic theme encompassing a touch of sophistication and an abundance of fun. The couple hired a bus to take their guests to the renowned Clifton Suspension Bridge; a perfect spot in Bristol for amazing wedding photos.
We got married at the Bristol Harbour Hotel in August and had an absolutely superb time. This grand, plush, listed venue was the perfect place to share our wedding day with all our guests – the room comfortably seated 80, which meant no one was crammed in to eat and it was great to have the bar and disco in the same room so people were not lost to another room during the evening entertainment.
The three-course wedding breakfast was fabulous and was as good as it tasted in the taster session - the evening food was more than enough to satisfy those joining us later on.
Maxime and Georgie worked incredibly hard throughout the day and into the night to make our day so special for us, nothing really was too much trouble - helping us to sort table arrangements and even supplying us with fresh ‘Gins’ when they could see us empty-handed! They did make us feel like ‘king and queen’ for the day. I thoroughly recommend this hotel as the ideal city centre venue to get married in.
