Your charming stay in the Lake District

Set at the foot of the fells within two acres of riverside gardens on the edge of picturesque Grasmere village, the four AA Silver Star Rothay Garden by Harbour Hotels is a boutique countryside hideaway with an array of outdoor activities to enjoy right on its doorstep. Many of the rooms and suites boast lakeland views and balconies overlooking the banks of the River Rothay.

Quaint, rural and set at the foot of the fells in the heart of charming Grasmere. The majestic Helm Crag overlooks the village, while Grasmere Lake provides the finishing touch to perfectly scenic days in the Lakes.

Riverside Spa

At the oh-so tranquil Riverside Spa, soothe aching muscles with ease in the hydrotherapy, or let your cares disappear with the herbal pine sauna, aromatherapy room, heated infra-red loungers and monsoon showers.

Your furry friends will love Grasmere’s expanse of fells and dales — that’s why we’re dog-friendly. We charge a fee of £30 per dog per night, with a doggy gift bag, bowls and a woofing good bed included.

The hotel has five room types, each offering the finest in Harbour-grade comforts. From our Classic bedrooms facing Silver How and Easedale Valley to our Luxury bedroom with supremely comfortable beds, living areas and spectacular views.

Embrace Harbour luxury, with idyllic views of the surrounding lakeland fells. Throw off your muddy boots, unwind and recharge.
