A full renovation in 2019 has added vibrant and colourful contemporary interiors throughout, inspired by Fowey’s rich history of exotic world travel. Most common rooms and bedrooms have estuary and harbour views. The newly restored exterior features a stunning wrap-around terrace, and two tiered gardens, an upper garden next to the hotel and a lower garden situated down some steps but right at the water’s edge.
The hotel’s beautiful private event room - with period features, an abundance of natural light, and harbour views - has a capacity of up to 70 guests and can be fully-equipped to meet your needs. A marquee is also possible in the upper garden.
For exceptional eating and drinking during your event, our passionate chefs have prepared a selection of appetising menus - we call it ‘brain food’ – anything from tea & cakes to set menus and platter-style, banquet feasts. And to take the stress out of organisation, and to ensure your event will run smoothly, we’ll provide you with the services of a dedicated event coordinator.
For before and after your event, we can offer attendees discounted room rates for those wishing to stay, an excellent in-house restaurant, and a selection of great, locally-themed activities and experiences. It’s a 5-minute walk to the quaint, bustling fishing town of Fowey, with its pretty, crooked little streets, lined with independent boutiques that run down to the water. The hotel is 60-minutes’ drive from Newquay Airport, or 1.5 hours’ drive from Exeter Airport. The nearest train stations are Par and Lostwithiel, each 10-minutes’ drive. On-site parking is available but must be pre-booked and costs £10 per night. Spaces are limited though, and on first come first serve basis. There is parking at nearby public car parks a few minutes’ walk away, and surrounding residential streets.

Our passionate chefs have created a number of different menu options for you to select from. You may create your own bespoke set menu, opt for one of our fixed-priced, set menus, or even choose our ever-popular ‘Bring me Food’ menu, with dishes delivered platter-style for communal feasting.
