Ferry to Polruan

Across the harbour from Fowey you’ll find Polruan, an ancient mariner and shipbuilding village. Clinging to the hillside, and surrounded on three sides by beautiful cornish water, the sweet little village is a maze of narrow streets and alleyways heading to flights of steps that wind perfectly between the quaint cottages…heavenly! It is much loved as a community, a haven for yachts and also a tranquil destination to spend a day.

Retaining its unspoilt small village charm, in the heart of the village you’ll find a couple of pubs, a cafe and a local shop - all warm and welcoming for locals and visitors. From the village you can also access the South West Coastal Footpath and take on the beautiful coastal adventure to Polperro, passing some of the more remote and extraordinary Cornish beaches.
