The hotel has three exceptional, flexible spaces to choose from, listed below, that can accommodate almost any meeting or event up to 120 attendees. The bowling green may also be used for certain events. Our events team also specialises in brilliant team building activities: ‘Catch it, Cook it, Eat it’ fishing trips, cocktail masterclasses, wine tasting challenges, ‘cookathons’, bowling challenges, giant games on the lawn, and kayaking (to name a few).
For before and after your event, we can offer discounted room rates for those wishing to stay, drinking and dining at the award-winning, in-house ‘The Kings Arms Restaurant’ or the ever-popular, lively Kings Bar, and a selection of great, locally-themed activities and experiences.
The hotel is perfectly positioned close to the historic town centre, a few minutes’ walk from Christchurch Quay (via a rather lovely riverside walk), and a few minutes’ drive from the local beaches. For those wanting to explore further afield, the hotel is also an ideal base for exploring the picturesque Dorset coast, including the fossil-rich Jurassic Coast, and the many trails and quaint villages of the surrounding New Forest – by bike, on foot or even on horseback. The hotel is readily accessible; it’s just two hours by train from London, or 15-minutes or 35-minutes drive from Bournemouth and Southampton airports respectively. Attendees can pre-book parking (with the hotel) in the nearby civic offices for £6 per day, or find other local parking nearby.
