A couple of our recommended spots for crabbing are Albert Quay Steps pontoon, the Slipway on Passage Street, the riverfront at Caffa Mill or the Quay in Polruan. Please remember to return the crabs once you have finished, they’re very important for our coast!
Rock pools
The rock pools at Readymoney Cove are well worth a visit and one of our favourites. This popular sandy cove, overlooked by St Catherine's Castle, is an easy walk from the centre of Fowey and has pleasant views across the harbour towards Polruan.
