Kayaking & paddleboarding in Sidmouth
The Sidmouth Harbour Hotel & Spa is beautifully positioned above the beach, with spectacular views of the dramatic red cliffs and out across Lyme Bay. But sometimes sea views are not enough – and you want to get out on the water.
Our friends at Jurassic Paddle Sports are based right on the beach just below the hotel (2-minute walk down the path). Run by surfers and members of Sidmouth Lifeboat Crew, they have stand-up paddleboards, body boards and kayaks for hire. They also offer tuition. If you’ve ever wanted to ‘give it a go’ – this is the perfect place to do it. You’ll learn from the best, and the views of the coastline from the water are worth it. They cater for all abilities and there a no age restrictions, so it’s great fun for the family too.
