A 42-room boutique hotel & luxury spa, set in an architecturally stunning, Grade-II listed building, right in the heart of the city. The perfect base for a Bristol city break.
All Harbour Hotels are known for their stunning locations, and the Bristol Harbour Hotel & Luxury Spa is no exception. Set in an architecturally stunning, Grade-II listed building in the heart of the city, this 42-room luxury boutique hotel is a tranquil haven in this bustling and energetic city – and the perfect base for a Bristol getaway.
Designed by renowned architect William Bruce Gingell, and inspired by Sansovino’s 16th Century Library of St Mark in the Piazzatta at Venice, the building dates back to circa 1850 when it was home to two former banks. Immaculately restored, with stunning contemporary interiors and period features throughout the hotel.
For in-house dining, there’s The Jetty restaurant serving simple, fresh seafood alongside thick-cut steaks and contemporary classics (it also serves up a sumptuous afternoon tea). The quirky, speak-easy inspired Gold Bar, dressed up in colourful artwork and fabrics, cosy corners and decadent chandeliers; serves classic cocktails with a contemporary twist, a good selection of craft beers, and an extensive list of wine.
For those needing renewal and revival, the underground HarSPA spa features five treatment rooms, a heated swimming pool, a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna, a steam room, a fitness suite and a relaxation area.
The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the city. It’s walking distance to most attractions, and opposite St. Nicholas markets. See our staff’s recommendations of the best activities, attractions & events in and around Bristol here. On request, the hotel can prepare you a sumptuous picnic to take with you, or arrange bike hire.
The hotel is readily accessible, with excellent transport links to the M4 and M5 motorways. London is a 2-hour drive. The closest station is Temple Meads, a 5-minute drive/15-minute walk.
All of our hotels are accessible, and help is always on hand for those who need assistance. Families are welcome (please note under-16s are not permitted to use the spa).
Snuggle down in 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Wake up to Nespresso coffee, cosy bathrobes and slippers. Freshen-up with White Company toiletries. Standard in all rooms.
