This month, HarBAR on 6th is celebrating the changing of the seasons with a spectacular floral installation embracing the gilded hues of autumn. Guests can enjoy a selection of autumnal dishes, or sip on delicious cocktails from The Isle of Wight Distillery (including Mermaid Gin) beneath a beautiful canopy of autumnal leaves in fiery red, orange and amber colours.

Created by botanical masterminds, Twilight Trees, the beautiful pop-up was designed to resemble an enchanting woodland setting evoking the beauty of the nearby New Forest. Encapsulating the best of British Autumn, HarBAR on 6th’s new menu is crammed with delicious harvest flavours featuring succulent dishes such as Pumpkin Ravioli with Brown Butter Sauce & Pecans, Chicken Gnocchi with Mushroom, Spinach & Sage Pesto and Duck Confit with Mapple Mustard Waffle. The desserts are equally tantalising including a Dark Chocolate & Nutella Torte, a Lemon Meringue Pie, and Rum Roasted Pineapple with Vegan Coconut Ice Cream.

A beautiful afternoon tea (served from 3pm to 5pm) has also been created for the occasion featuring a Punch Cake with Autumn Chocolate Leaves, a Nutella & Fudge Mousse, a Raspberry Torte with White Chocolate Leaf, Fruit Scones with Blackcurrant Jam and a Lemon Curd Tart with Apricot compote. Savoury bites range from Duck Hoisin served in a fuchsia tart case, an Egg Mayonnaise & Pea Shoot Brioche to a Crab & Smoked Salmon Mousse enveloped in an orange canapé shell.

Raise your glass to this stunning Autumnal pop-up, with a limited-edition cocktail menu crafted by HarBAR on 6th’s expert mixologists in collaboration with The Isle of Wight Distillery – featuring Mermaid Gin, a smooth, elegant and complex gin made with locally foraged rock samphire and Boadicea hops; Mermaid Vodka with a salty edge; or HMS Victory-branded Navy Strength Barrel-aged Gin and Rum, incorporating real oak from the famous warship in a unique and exclusive partnership with the National Museum of the Royal Navy. Celebrate the golden season with a “Mermaid Pink Gin” cocktail - a delicious blend of Mermaid Pink Gin, Fever Tree Light Tonic Water, dark cherry, orange peel and nutmeg – or an “HMS Victory Rum Old-Fashioned” cocktail made with maple essence and pineapple star anise.

The striking Autumnal display can be enjoyed until end of November before it transforms into a whimsical Winter Wonderland complete with draping bushels of foliage in green and white hues and sparkling gold elements throughout. The Christmas installation will welcome a new delicious festive afternoon tea comprising Roast Turkey & Cranberry Finger Sandwiches, Fruit scones with Winterberry Jam, mini Mince Pies, a Chocolate Yule Log and Lemon Macarons.
