Distance: 5 miles circular
Starting at the North Sands Beach Car Park this seriously beautiful circular walk takes you along the South Devon coastline towards the craggy heathland of Bold Head. A favourite walk of locals and visitors alike, this classic walk is filled with beauty with nature's bounty found at every turn. Expect to uncover secluded coves, trek to the top of cliff tops, discover the sensational countryside that surrounds us and the peaceful woodlands.
Distance: 1.5 miles, or 2.5 with extended circular route
Starting at the Snape Point National Trust Car Park, this short walk through the South Hams countryside takes you on trails between the fields teeming with wildlife. Once you reach Snapes Point, the glorious countryside views are switched to the most incredible panoramic views of Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary.
Distance: 8.5 miles - one way
A true Devon adventure, this walk takes in some of the most sensational remote countryside of the South West Coast path through the unpopulated and unspoilt South Hams area. You’ll come across sandy shores and even head through the National Trust’s Bolberry Down with its pretty gorse and wildflowers. This is an adventurous route with climbs along the cliffs, so be prepared with good walking boots and plenty of water!
