We looked at a number of possible wedding venues around the area, but nowhere came close to Salcombe Harbour Hotel. The combination of the Hotel itself as a fabulous backdrop and the views from the Marine Room and on the terrace of the estuary are simply stunning.  All the staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional.  The attention to detail that Milly and the team have is amazing.  In the run-up to the wedding, they arranged several meetings with us to check our requirements and liaise with all our suppliers, photographer and DJ to ensure everything ran smoothly.  During the months before the wedding, trying out the different menu and wine choices at a tasting session was a real highlight.  

On our wedding day itself, we felt totally relaxed as we knew we were in safe hands. The staff were charming, always available when required but unobtrusive.  The food for the wedding breakfast and evening meal was stunning, and all the time Milly was superb in overseeing the proceedings so that we could enjoy the day and spend quality time with our family and friends.  I think the biggest compliment we can give to everyone at Salcombe Harbour Hotel is that they made us, and all our guests, feel incredibly special and welcomed.  The effort they put into our day was as if our wedding was the only one they would host that year.
