A vibrant, atmospheric restaurant and alfresco terrace, both with stunning views across Christchurch Harbour. Serves up traditional British and world favourites, all expertly cooked using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients.
“The Upper Deck is all about food that you want to eat, and come back for, again and again”, says Chef Patron, Alex Aitken.
The Upper Deck, a destination Christchurch restaurant housed within the hotel, features stunning views across the harbour and a delightful alfresco terrace. A casual, relaxed affair, it serves traditional and modern favourites from Britain and around the world; think fish and chips, Pad Thai and stir-frys, prawn cocktails, hearty roasts, and warm sticky toffee pudding for dessert - all expertly prepared. As with all of Alex's restaurants, dishes, where possible, use locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients, notably seafood caught by the local Mudeford fishermen.
The Upper Deck’s menus are available throughout the day, from early morning coffees and breakfast at the bar, to brunch, long lunches on the terrace, afternoon tea, and rolling into evening dinner and drinks.
