The water laps at the edge of The Jetty, where great food is carefully prepared and selected from local suppliers. As fresh as it gets, the daily catch is sourced from the local fishermen as they dock at Mudeford Quay.

Lunch with Alex

On the first Friday of every month, enjoy Lunch with Alex, including a three-course demonstration lunch, a glass of wine and plenty of banter.

Always fresh menus reap the rewards of Chef Patron Alex Aitken's hands-on approach and thriving connection to the locale and its producers. With over 40 years in the industry, Chef Alex is one of the South's most respected chefs.


From the Seasonal Local Produce menu featuring Alex’s Twice-Baked Cheese Soufflé to The Sunday Catch, fresh seafood is in abundance. Devour local oysters, lobster and prawn, as well as grilled fish.

You'll find us in the grounds of Harbour Hotel Christchurch, in the village of Mudeford on the outskirts of Christchurch. Our postcode is BH23 3NT.

We don't have a dress code as such, but a lot of our guests come in smart clothing. We want you to be comfortable whilst you're with us.

Dogs are allowed on lead on the terrace only.

Absolutely. We have a children's menu. Please let us know if you require a high chair. 

We don't pre-book tables outside in case the weather is bad. Our outdoor seating is always on a first-come-first-served basis.

We'll always try our hardest to accommodate all guests' dietary requirements. Please let us know of any allergies at the time of booking, and we will check again when you arrive. Even if you have chosen the item previously, please make sure that you check the allergen information each time you visit and always inform your waiter of your allergy, intolerance or dietary requirements when ordering.
