Meet Exec Head Chef Matthew Tomkinson
A Michelin-starred chef and winner of the prestigious Roux Scholarship, he is best known for his tenure at The Montagu Arms in Beaulieu, where he earned and retained a Michelin star for eight years. Most recently he worked as Executive Chef at the highly regarded Yarmouth restaurant, The Terrace. Known for his refined yet approachable cooking style, Matthew brings a strong focus on seasonal produce and coastal flavours to The Jetty’s menus, celebrating the best of British ingredients.

Set in Ocean Village, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, while yachts glide through the marina. Our laid-back bar with plush sofas is the place to sit back with your favourite drink after your meal.

New signature dishes
Signature dishes on the new menu include Warm Devonshire Smoked Eel with 'tartare' potatoes, mustard leaf and dill oil, Smoked Chalk Stream Trout with crushed potato salad, beetroot and apple, Cod & Salmon Fishcake with sautéed spinach, fennel and caviar sauce, and Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut Mousse served with whipped caramel and banana ice cream.
Chef Patron Alex Aitken
Chef Alex is one of the South's most respected chefs. He spent 25 years of cooking within the New Forest, including many years running his own highly-acclaimed restaurant, Le Poussin in Brockenhurst, Hampshire, which led to his Michelin Star in 1995. Now he is Chef Patron of The Jetty restaurants and celebrating 40 years in the business.
